The tablet volume should be set to maximum to ensure new order alerts are not missed. To verify this:   

• Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull down the Android menu
• Swipe down a second time to reveal more menu options
• Select the Settings icon on the bottom right
• Tap Sound
• Move the sliders for Media volume, Notification volume and Alarm volume to the far right
