Connect Printer (USB)
Troubleshooting > Zebra PrinterFollow these steps to pair the printer via USB:
Note: USB-A to USB-B cable required (example here). Or altenatively, a USB-C to USB-B cable can be used.
- Ensure the tablet and printer are powered on
Note: The Status light on the Zebra printer should be solid green. The Network light can be red.
- Insert the USB-A connector into the tablet port
Note: If using an Elo series 10in I-series-4 tablet, this should have 2x USB-A ports on the back. 1 port is used to power the tablet, but there should be a second port on the other side. The tablet may need to be removed from any stand and have the backing plate removed to access the 2nd port. A screwdriver may be needed for this. If the USB A port is in use already a USB-C to USB-B cable is required. - Insert the USB-B connector into the printer port
- On the tablet, open the Q-Mgr application
- Open the Main menu > Settings > Setup printer
- Select Zebra as the Printer type
- Select USB as the Connection type
- Tap Find printers
- If the printer was found, select it to establish a connection
- Tap Print test page
